IMPHAL, July 25: Suros Thokchom of Imphal Free Press is leading with 56 points in the 25 M .22 Open sight standard pistol in the ongoing 3rd Kangjam Sorojini Devi Memorial Journalist Shooting completion, 2012 at the Khuman Lampak Shooting range, while Bisheshwor Sharma of IFP is in the third position of the 50 M point .22 open sight standard rifle with 34 points.
The two completions will continue further tomorrow at the same venue.
The .22 Open sight standard pistol completion was participated by 11 journalists including a woman journalist from different media houses of the state on the first day of the completion. The only woman journalist shooter of the day, Longjam Meena of Poknapham scored 28.
While Suros is leading with 56 points out of 100, Zomminlun of Poknapham with 55 points is at second position.
In the the 50 M point .22 open sight standard rifle W Leisemba of DDK is leading with 41 points out of 100 while H Tommy of NE TV is at second position with 37 points.
The closing function of the competition will be held tomorrow at the same venue with Dronacharya Awardee L Ibomcha as chief guest, Poknapham editor A Robindro Sharma as president.
