IMPHAL, July 9: The 5th Kishorekumar Memorial First Division League Football Tournament 2012 organized by District Sports Association (DSA) was commenced today at Kakching with 6 teams participating the tournament.
Ideal Youth Club (IYC) Kakching thrash Youth Sporting Association (YSA) Langmeidong 7-1 in the opening match today.
Th Anit (26th/30th/75th minutes), Arunkumar (14th minute), N Michael (34th minute), N Dhanakumar (42nd minute) and N Sumananda (71st minute) scored for IYA. Th England scored the lone of YSA in 80th minute.
The opening function was attended by Ksh Chaoba, Councillor Ward No 12, Kakching Municipal Council and N Krishnamohon as the chief guest and president respectively.
