IMPHAL, July 22: The proscribed PLA/RPF has claimed responsibility of yesterday’s IED explosion at Awang Khunou, Salang Sabal Leikai near Gokulchand High School along the National Highway 37 under Patsoi Police Station.
A press statement of the proscribed outfit signed by its chief of publicity, Taohangsu Heiremcha claiming responsibility of the explosion said, the IED explosion was carried out under the supervision of the GHQ by the Special Operation Group, PLA against the 9 Sector 28 Assam Rifles under the IGAR (S).
The statement has also claimed that the PLA has already initiated steps to continue with such attacks.
