IMPHAL, July 12: The People’s Price Monitoring Committee (PPMC) will oppose all forms of business terrorism arising from captive markets, black-marketing and illegal taxation.
A release of the PPMC mentioned that the committee would press the government for the establishment of central industrial units and ensure fair share of export and import for Manipur at times of globalization. It also demanded the Indian government to set up full-fledged Highway Protection Force along the vulnerable national highways, NH-2 and NH-37.
The PPMC and its constituent organizations will also render full support to the ongoing agitations spearheaded by FRIENDS for the implementation of Inner Line Permit System in the state, it added.
