IMPHAL, July 10: Re-Young Star Nagamapal defeated YWC Patsoi by 5 wickets in the MCA U-16 Cricket Tournament at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium today which was credited to bowler Sanjit for taking four wickets. He was also declared man of the match.
The tournament is organized by Manipur Cricket Association (MCA).
YWC won the toss and elected to field. Re-Young Star, in the first innings, scored 103 runs in 29.4 overs all out. Johnson scored 25 runs in 72 balls; Anand scored 12 runs in 28 balls and Bobby scored 14 runs in 17 balls.
YWC bowler Millan took four wickets, Mangalsana Singh took three wickets and England took two wickets.
YWC, in second innings, scored 98 runs in 29.3 overs all out. Priyobrata scored 20 runs in 38 balls and Sumanta scored 12 runs in 26 balls.
Re-Young Star bowlers, Sanjit took four wickets, Rohit took three wickets, Ranjan and Bobby took one wicket each.
