IMPHAL, July 10: UVA Uyupokpok Terapur stormed in the final defeating SDC Tiger Camp 6-5 in the first semi-final match of the 4th YOLLLO Cup Football Tournament 2012 at Keibi Primary School Ground today.
The tournament is organized by Young Learner’s Library and Leading organization (YOLLLO), Keibi.
UVA will clash with the winner of the second semi-final match, which will be played tomorrow between YLYC (A) Nongsum and YOLLLO (A).
The first semi-final match today has thrilled the audience with both the team giving great competition during the match.
The first half of the match has seen UVA leading with 4-2. The early second half has also seen UVA adding one more goal and continued the lead with 5-2, but soon SDC managed to equalize the goal with 5-5. In the ending few minutes of the match UVA was able to manage a goal declaring their win.
Babu (1st/18th/22nd/52nd minutes), Naobisana (34th minute) and Amarjit (28th minute) scored for UVA, while Ranjan (21st/26th/39th minutes), Sanathoi (40th minute) and Loyumba (48th minute) scored for SDC.
Babu and Naobisana of UVA were booked yellow cards in 24th and 39th minutes of the match.
