IMPHAL, July 24: A woman was found hanging under suspicious condition today at around 9.30 am at B Phailen Village under Churachandpur Police Station. The deceased is identified as Hoinu, 48, daughter of (late) Sinahopao of Red Cross Road, Churachandpur. She is a divorcee and runs a grocery shop. She was found hanging at the backyard of her shop.
There is suspicion that some persons might have raped and murdered her. The dead body has been deposited at RIMS Mortuary for postmortem.
