IMPHAL, Aug 6: At least 200 buses bound for Nagaland and Manipur has been detained at Khetri Kandubalm of Kamrup district, Assam.
Reports said that protestors blocked the National Highway 37, following the murder of a 11 year old girl identified as Bobita Urang. She was sexually violated by her landowner and done to death.
The passengers of the buses are mainly from Manipur and there has been no agreement to lift the blockade at the time of drafting this report, a passenger informed IFP.
