IMPHAL, August 17: Out of the 400 trucks carrying goods heading towards Imphal from Jiribam on Thursday 300 trucks have been stranded on the road unable to cross the bridges diversion in Gularthon-Leingangpokpi stretch, said a release of Transporters’ And Drivers’ Council.
It has further continued that by seeing the lazy way of working by the BRTF, it can never be completed. Since yesterday only one or two trucks of stones were brought in without any other material.
In this regard, the TDC has urged the state government to look into the matter at the earliest possible time, it added.
