IMPHAL, August 22: The Hockey Manipur today criticised the Indian Hockey team for leaving out Kh Kothajit from playing at the London Olympics, after the mid-fielder had played a pivotal role in the qualifying rounds, including Four Nationa Olympic Test at London, 21st Sultan Azlan Shah Cup and Olympic warm up tour of France and Spain.

A statement of the Hockey Manipur said that this shows that the Indian hockey is full of corruption and discrimination of players from the North East region.

Meanwhile, applauding the state Chief Minister for declaring to organize a reception ceremony of the hockey player, the statement has also said that the ceremony should be held at the earliest as encouragement of the players and many other budding hockey players of the state.
