IMPHAL, Sept 13: Troops of 9th Assam Rifles apprehended a UPPK cadre yesterday from a place near Moreh Ward no 5. The arrested, s/s Pvt Pebam Arun Mangang, alias Lalhaba, 35, son of late Chouba Mangang, r/o Katangbam near Kangleipak Model school, Lamsang was later handed over to Imphal west police station. One 9 mm pistol with magazine and five live rounds were recovered from his possession, a statement said today.
