IMPHAL, November 3: Kh Rina Devi opens gold account for Manipur on the second day of the 76th men’s and 20th women’s Eastern India Weight Lifting Championship 2012 at SAG hall, Khuman Lampak.

In the women’s 58 kg, Kh Rina Devi of Manipur bagged gold by lifting 48 kg in snatch, 62 kg in clean and jerk with a total weight of 110 kg, PC Lalnunhlimi of Mizoram bagged silver by lifting 45 kg in snatch, 55 kg in clean and jerk with a total weight of 100 kg and Babina Devi of Meghalaya bagged bronze by lifting 44 kg in snatch, 53 kg in clean and jerk with a total weight of 97 kg.
In the women’s 53 kg, Sona Tarasdar of West Bengal bagged gold by lifting 46 kg in snatch, 65 kg in clean and jerk with a total weight of 111 kg, M Roshina Devi of Arunachal Pradesh bagged silver by lifting 43 kg in snatch, 59 kg in clean and jerk with a total weight of 102 kg and O Roshini Devi of Nagaland bagged bronze by lifting 46 kg in snatch, 55 kg in clean and jerk with a total weight of 101 kg.
In the men’s 62 kg, Lairamzava of Mizoram bagged gold by lifting 95 kg in snatch, 125 kg in clean and jerk with a total weight of 220 kg, Ankit Ranjan of Bihar bagged silver by lifting 90 kg in snatch, 117 kg in clean and jerk with a total weight of 207 kg and A Arjun Singh of Manipur bagged bronze by lifting 86 kg in snatch, 110 kg in clean and jerk with a total weight of 197 kg.
In the women’s 63 kg, PC Lalawpuii of Mizoram bagged gold by lifting 63 kg in snatch, 80 kg in clean and jerk with a total weight of 143 kg, Th Nishila Devi of Manipur bagged silver by lifting 67 kg in snatch, 75 kg in clean and jerk with a total weight of 142 kg and K Rosilata Devi of Arunachal Pradesh bagged bronze by lifting 47 kg in snatch, 55 kg in clean and jerk with a total weight of 102 kg.
