IMPHAL, November 23: The Manipur Junior Girls’ team has entered the semi-final of the 30th Junior National Softball Championship at the Khuman Lampak Sports Complex by defeated Madhya Pradesh by 4-2 and Rajasthan by 11-1 run in the super league stage.
The other three semi-finalists are Punjab, Kerala and Delhi.
Meanwhile, the Boys’ semi-final line up include Kerala, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh.
In the boys’ super league matches played today, Punjab defeated Kerela by 10-2, HAL defeated Rajasthan by 11-9, Chhattisgarh defeated Delhi by 11-0, MP defeated AP by 11-10, Delhi defeated Punjab by 4-3, Chhattisgarh defeated Kerela by 16-3, AP defeated HAL by 11-6.
In other matches of the day, MP defeated Rajasthan by 15-0, Punjab defeated HAL by 5-0 while Delhi defeated Rajasthan by 2-1.
In the girls’ event, Delhi defeated Rajasthan by 11-0, Chhattisgarh defeated Andhra Pradesh by 15-1, Delhi defeated MP by 12-5, Punjab defeated Chhattisgarh by 13-0, Kerela defeated AP by 21-1, Chhattisgarh defeated MP by 10-0 while Punjab held Kerela by 6-6 in the last match.
