IMPHAL, December 19: Th Birachandra Singh Football Academy (TBSFA) Taobungkhok has released the 4th edition of its calendar and diary at Imphal Hotel today.
Minister of Social Welfare and Corporation Km AK Mirabai Devi who attended the occasion as chief guest said the calendar is very important one and is related with the activities of TBSFA.
The academy is trying to produce world class footballers. It has already produced state and national players, she said.
The academy has been trying to keep the youths away from intoxicants and to transform them into complete footballers and the CM and Parliamentary Secretary concerned will be pressed to upgrade the infrastructure of the academy, she added.
President of the occasion Thangmeiband MLA Kh Joykishan Singh urged the people to know the message given by the calendar which says to take a step forward in the development of football.
He then said that sports player not only bring fame to the state but also help in improving the economy. Let us make the dream of TBSFA come true, he said.
The guests of honour present during the occasion were managing director of Manipur Police Housing Cooperation LK Haokip, SP NAB Issac Shaha, and Pradhan of Changagei GP L (O) Roma Devi.
