IMPHAL, April 23: The Co-ordinating Body of Trade Unions, Manipur has said in a press release that it condemns the instances of kidnapping and killing and expressed sorrow over the incidents while taking the kidnapping of Driver Surjit seriously and condemning it.
It continued that Manipur Government, Nagaland Government and India Government should make a concerted effort to release Driver Surjit at the earliest. It went on to say that it would take up intensified agitations in consultation with All Manipur Petroleum Tanker Drivers Union if Driver Surjit is not released at the earliest.
