IMPHAL, Apr 24: A press statement of the DIPR has said that according to a notification of the EE Bridge Division, PWD all kinds of vehicular traffic except for two wheelers are prohibited from plying on the existing Bailey bridge at Old Thumbuthong for at least 15 days with immediate effect as the approach road of the bridge on the Bamon leikai side has slided partially as a result of the earth work excavation for casting pile cap of abutment of the eastern side for the newly constructed RCC bridge.
