IMPHAL, April 25: The dead body of a woman was found at Unapal Lamkhai under Kakching Police Station of Thoubal District at around 7.45 a.m. and picked up by a team of Kakching Police.
According to a source, the deceased has been identified as Sorokhaibam Ongbi Sanahanbi Devi (37), wife of S Sanathoi Singh of Pallel Mayai Leikai. She had reportedly gone out of her house yesterday and gone missing. However it cannot be ascertained how she died as the dead body of the deceased was cremated without a post-mortem examination being conducted.
