IMPHAL, June 2: A Patriotic Writers’ Forum press release had said that its secretary Rakesh Naorem has said during an interaction programme today that the 13th Memorial Service of Arambam Samarendra, social activist, playright and Sahitya Academy Awardee will be observed jointly by the Manipuri Sahitya Parishad, Tripura; Marup Organisation, Tripura and Lamyanba Organisation, Tripura; Patriotic Writers’ Forum, Manipur in Agartala.
He was addressing the key-note at an interaction program on a book “Chummi Haina Loubibra, Lalli Haina Loubibra” written by Laishram Nabakishore at Hotel Classic.
He further appealed to the writers to submit to the forum three short stories each based on patriotism for the R Kathing Literary Award 2013, Pacha Meetei Literary Award 2013 and Dr Saroj Nalini Literary Award 2013 which PAWF awards every year, the release said.
Salam Tomba, Ngangom Tejkumar and Prof. Jodha C Sanasam also spoke at the function, it said.
