IMPHAL, July 8: The accused of the alleged rape of a minor from Karong Maning leikai was produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate Imphal West Chierap Court and sent to 15 days of judicial custody remand till July 24 at Sajiwa Central Jail.Angry local womenfolk also stormed the court gate while the accused was being brought out demanding befitting punishment for the accused.
It may be mention that the 12 year old victim girl from Karong Maning leikai was alleged raped by her own uncle identified as
Irom Bobby (39), son of Kamsehwar of Tharoijam Maning Leikai under Patsoi police station had allegedly raped his own 12 year old neice on June 1.
