IMPHAL, October 31: The Superintendent of Police of Imphal West district made a general appeal in view of the recent incidents involving series of bomb blast perpetrated by UGs causing death and injuries of innocent lives of public and security forces, as a part of preventive measures to prevent any untoward similar incidents, the district police seek the co-operation of the general public and request to extend all possible assistance.
The SP, in the press release, further made an appeal to the general public to avoid unnecessary crowding and further informing not allow unattended, unidentified vehicles to be parked in front of your house/shop etc, and as such condition, inform the police for any such unattended vehicles, it said.
The appeal further conveyed not to touch any suspicious object and accept any gifts/packets from unknown person, it said.
It is also informed to check the surroundings for any unusual changes and to check any suspicious behavior of people/strangers/passerby.
