IMPHAL, November 23: A Myanmar painting was sold for 50 USD (3000 INR) today at the Mandalay Art Exhibition which was jointly organised by Mandalay Art Club and Neo Gene, Imphal held at Nupilal Memorial Complex.
The said painting is portrait of Sangai painted by Cho Cho Aung and purchased by RK Rupabati Devi of Thangmeiband.
The Art Exhibition is being organised as a part of the ongoing Manipur Sangai Festival under the support of Arts and Culture, Govt of Manipur.
One visitor of the Art Exhibition expressed the exhibition has poor attendance because of the parking problem and further adding that such rare exhibition should be organised at a place where there is more parking space instead of the present Nupilal Complex as it has limited public and parking space.
