IMPHAL, November 20: A rifleman of the 6th Manipur Rifles identified as Achung Zapharine, 48, resident of Chingjaroi Khullen under Jessami Police, Ukhrul district, was shot dead last night around 9pm in Mizoram. The deceased was on election duty at Mizoram and reportedly sustained a bullet injury in head. However, detail report of the incident could not be collected till the filing of this report.
