IMPHAL, November 6: The Royal Riders Manipur has today organized a press conference at Manipur Press Club announcing that a Promotional and Awareness Campaign for Sangai Festival will be launched.
The programme which is targeted to be concluded by November 21 will be flagged off on November 7 from Imphal Hotel, North AOC.
All districts of the state namely Senapati, Ukhrul, Chandel, Churachandpur, Tamenglong, Thoubal, Bishnupur, Imphal East and Imphal West will be covered during the campaign.
Th Chitra Devi, Director of Tourism and Dr Rajesh Kumar, Principal Secretary, Govt of Manipur will attend the flagging off function. Thirty royal riders will take part in the promotional and awareness campaign of Sangai Festival.
During the press conference, the riders also sought cooperation to support the riders’ team while they are riding from one district to another district and further appealed not to call any kind of bandh, general strike or other such similar thing during this period of time.
