IMPHAL, January 23: In yet another abduction of workers by suspected armed Kuki militants in the state, three contractors and two others engaged in construction of a RCC bridge at New Boljang under Saikhul police station, Senapati district were allegedly kidnapped on January 22 around 6 pm.
The five kidnapped have been identified as contractor Oinam Khamba Meitei, 50, son of Thambalmacha of Isikha; contractor Paominlen Haokip, 36, son of Jangkholun Haokip of Liakot Chajang Village; contractor Md Anwar Meiraimayum, 40, son of Sahid Umid of Lilong Sambrumakhong, head mason Oinam Kellon, 56, son of Thambalmacha of Ishikha and mohari Thangjam Dilip, 54, son of Leibakmacha of Yumnam Khunou.
