IMPHAL, February 27: The Shumang Leela State Council has condoled the sudden demise of Shumang Leela artist Samom Krishnamani Singh who expired on February 20, 2014 at his residence.
Krishnamani was born at Uripok Huidrom Leikai on September 16, 1930 to (Late) Dinamani Singh.
Krishnamani got best actress award for his role in “Echeyaima” in the year 1966 and his famous roles among others include “Chandramukhi” in Devdas (1969), as “Lata” in BA Thiba (1969) and as “Mane” in Dr Babu (1975).
