AAP appeals against corruption

IMPHAL, March 7: The Aam Aadmi Party Manipur has today appealed to all government servants including security personnel to control themselves from demanding bribes from the common people for discharging official duties, said a press statement of the party.

This practice has eroded the status of so many government officials in the minds of the public, who were denied attention/justice for failing to bribe them, it said.

Begging money for entering the state Secretariat by the security guards, demanding money for issuing Tribe /Caste/ Income/ Domicile, etc, certificates, taking bribes for transfer & posting of officials spoils the positive thinking of the people, the statement continued.
