IMPHAL, Mar 5: Decrying the rape of a minor girl of Kiyam Leitanpokpi area by an elderly man, Miera Paibis of the area today staged a sit in protest demonstration.
The protest was conducted at the waiting of Kiyam Leitanpokpi.
The accused is identified as one Md Muhi, 63 years, is reportedly absconding after the incident.
Protestors displayed placards which read “We want justice”, “Book and punish Md Muhi”, etc.
