KANGPOKPI, April 10: The 43 Assam Rifles who conducted a medical camp today at Thonglang Akutpa along IT Road and attended to 11 critically injured passengers who met with a serious road accident near the 43 Assam Rifles Thonglang Akutpa check post this morning.
The ill-fated passenger vehicle Mahindra Maxx, bearing Regd.No. NL01-A- 8902 plying along the Imphal Tamenglong road met with the road accident this morning at around 10:20 am.
Jawans of 43 Assam Rifles helped the injured victims evacuated at the medical camp conducted on the same day at Thonglang Akutpa.
The medical camp was conducted under the supervision of Dr Md Gulab Hussein, assistant commandant 43 Assam Rifles and Dr Samraj Dey.
Later the injured passengers were evacuated to CHC, Kangpokpi.
