IMPHAL, April 17: The office of the Returning Officer/1-Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency, District Election Officer, Imphal West has said in a press release that counting of votes for 4-Kshetrigao, 5-Thongju, 14-Yaiskul, 15-Wangkhei will be conducted at at Counting Centre DIC Training Hall, DIC Complex, Porompat, Imphal East District.
For 1- Khundrakpam, 2-Heingang, 3-Khurai, 8-Lamlai counting of votes will be held at Counting Centre-Panchayat Bhawan Hall-I (E/W), DC’s Office Complex, Imphal East; for 6-Keirao, 7-Andro at Counting Centre-Panchayat Bhawan Hall-II (W/W), DC’s Office Complex, Imphal East.
Counting of these constituencies will start from 8am of May 16.
As for Imphal West Assembly Constituencies, counting of votes for 9-Thangmeiband, 10-Uripok, 11-Sagolband, 12-Keishamthong, 13-Singjamei will be held at Counting Centre-Office Complex of DC/Imphal West District at Lamphelpat, Hall No.1, Room No G/05 (Ground Floor); for 16-Sekmai (SC), 17-Lamsang counting of votes will be held at Counting Centre-Hall No.2, Room No. H/04 (Ground Floor); for 18-Konthoujam, 19-Patsoi at Counting Centre-Office Complex of DC/Imphal West District at Lamphelpat, Hall No. 3, Room No. F/21 (First Floor); for 20-Langthabal, 21-Naoriya Pakhanglakpa, 22-Wangoi, 23-Mayang Imphal at Counting Centre-Office Complex of DC/Imphal West District at Lamphelpat, hall no 4, room no H/12 (First Floor) on May 16 at 8am.
The office further said that for Bishnupur District Assembly Constituencies counting of votes for 24-Nambol, 25-oinam, 26-Bishnupur will he held at Counting Centre-Mini Secretariat Building, Bishnupur, Hall no 1; for 27-Moirang, 28-Thanga, 29-Kumbi at Counting Centre-Mini Secretariat Building, Bishnupur, Hall no 2, on May 16 at 8 am.
For Thoubal District Assembly Constituencies counting of votes for 30-Lilong, 31-Thoubal, 32-Wangkhem will be held at Counting Centre- Counting Hall of DC’s office, Thoubal, Hall no 1 on May 17 at 8 am.
The Postal Ballot Papers of the entire Parliamentary Constituency and the results of poll at all the polling stations will be consolidated at the Office of Deputy Commissioner, Imphal West District and Returning Officer/1-Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency, Lamphelpat on May 16, 2014 at 8 am onwards said the Returning Officer/1-Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency, it said.
