All pol parties committee to seek MP`s views on ILPS

IMPHAL, October 21: The All Political Parties Committee on Implementation of Inner Line Permit System met for the 18th time today at its office in New Assembly Complex, Chingmeirong this afternoon.

According to sources, the committee decided to seek opinions of the three Members of Parliament from the State on the issue on October 23.

A meeting in this regard with the three MPs will be held at the conference hall of the deputy Chief Minister, who is also the chairman of the committee.Sources said that the committee also discussed the ILP system which is already implemented in States like Mizoram, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh, and also regarding Land Use Policy which is followed in other States.

It may be mentioned that the committee had already heard comments and views regarding the implementation of ILPS from fifty experts so far, with different professional background. The committee will later on submit a substantial report to the government of Manipur on the issue.
