IMPHAL, Oct 16: Statement recording of the three RIMS doctors summoned earlier by the CBI in connection with a case lodged against Dr Sekharjit regarding irregularities in the supply of dental chairs and other misappropriations has concluded today.
The doctors who have given their statements regarding case number FIR No.R.C 6(A)2014-IMP u/s 120-B,420 IPC, 13(2) r/w 13(1)(d) Prevention of Corruption Act,21.5.2014 are Prof H Shanti Singh, department of Anesthesia, who took charge as medical superintendent from March 1, 2011 to February 28, 2013; E Devendro Meitei, chief account officer RIMS and Dr Rajiv Ratna, professor of dental college RIMS and the then Principal in-charge dental college.
