IMPHAL, Oct 22: Unidentified miscreants fired three rounds of bullets at the residence of head-mistress of the Praja High School located just opposite to the school in Lamdeng Khunou near Lamsang Bazar last night around 10.
The head-mistress is identified as Mutum (o) Ibesana Devi.

A bullet pierced through a window and hit an almirah inside the house, another hit a wall, while the third was found inside a nearby shop.
The projectiles were found today by family members while cleaning the house.
Meanwhile, locals staged a sit in protest condemning the incident and the police have taken up a case in this regard.
