IMPHAL, December 2: The outlawed Maoist Communist Party of Manipur in a statement signed by Nonglen Meitei, secretary publicity and propaganda of the group has declared that a joint body called International Committee of Solidarity for Manipur Revolution, ICSMR has been formed and it has declared the January 26, 2015 as International Protest Day against Indian Expansionism.
It said the International Protest Day will also be organised at New York with the slogan `end the Indian occupation in Manipur`. The protest will be taken part by `genuine revolutionary`™ people of the United States and other international organisations. The Maoist Communist Party of Manipur, on behalf of its people has paid revolutionary salute to the endeavour of the likeminded organisations, it added.
Further the statement said that ICSMR has highlighted the ongoing proletarian revolution of Manipur to the international community, and has further urged them for solidarity in its struggle to root out the atrocities committed by the `Indian colonial forces` in Manipur under the AFSPA, 1958.
It also quoted the statement of ICSMR that `US President Barak Obama is going to grace India`™s Republic Day Celebration on January 26, 2015 as a chief guest. The main agenda of the present fascist communal government of India for inviting US president in the celebration is nothing but a strong message of consolidating anti-people reactionary alliance of the imperialist world`.
The statement added that the party will continue to carry forward its revolutionary struggle with the spirit and solidarity of proletarian internationalism.
