THOUBAL, May 4: In a tragic incident, a passenger bus ran over a person killing him on the spot at Kakching today.
The incident occurred today at around 1.45 pm near Kakching Bazar, Nahallai Lampak under Kakching Police Station when the Imphal-Sugnu bus, MN-01/1329 ran over Yengkhom Kunan Singh, 21, son of Y. Jibon Singh of Kakching Mayai Leikai. He was ran over by the rear wheels of the bus coming from Imphal side carrying passengers.
A case has been registered by the Kakching Police regarding the incident. The driver as well as the bus is under police custody.
