IMPHAL, May 3: Identity of the dead body of a man recovered by police from Imphal River at Chairen Awang Leikai Ward No 3 under Sugunu Police Station, Thoubal district on May 2 around 11.30 am could not be ascertained till yet.
The body is being preserved at JNIMS morgue. It is believed that the deceased could be of a man from Kakching Wairi. His whereabouts remained traceless ever since he went out of his house on April 28 to take part in Lai Haraoba at Chairen.
