IMPHAL, Jun 24: As a prompt measure to thwart any unwanted incident during the 11th Session of the 10th Manipur Legislative Assembly to be commenced from June 26, rehearsal of security personnel deployed in the basement, hall and campus of the Assembly was conducted today.
The rehearsal session was for plain clothes officers and personnel of Manipur Police.
It may be mentioned that the rehearsal session for the security personnel was conducted in sync with the office memorandum issued by the Assembly Secretariat on June 8 last regarding taking up of safety precautionary measures to ensure that Assembly session functions smoothly.
