IMPHAL, July 23: The Bharatiya JanataYuva Morcha (BJYM) Imphal East District Committee terming the recent arrest of the leaders of the JCILPS student`™s wing was an anti democracy act, urged the Government to release the student leaders.
In a statement the BJYM said that the very act of the Government has misled the democratic movement of the students`™ body adding that it appealed the Government to stop harassing the students using force against them.
It further appealed the Government to reopen the entire educational institute at the earliest to ensure that the students are not deprived of their right to education.
