IMPHAL, Jul 3: Urging to immediately install the newly elected ADC Members in the hill areas to avoid all sort of unwanted social reactions and uphold the principles of democracy, the Naga People`™s Front (NPF) Manipur State Unit submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister O Ibobi today.
The memorandum signed by Honreikhui Kashung, General Secretary of NPF Manipur State Unit reiterated that the result of the Manipur Hill Areas Autonomous District Council (ADC) Election 2015 was declared on June 10 last. However, the concerned authority deliberately delays the process of installation of the newly elected ADC Members in all the hill districts.
The indefinite postponement of oath taking to all the elected ADC Members by the government is amounting to dishonour to the rules of law of democracy, it said.
