AMBA submits memo over recruitment process

IMPHAL, Sept 7: In connection with the advertisement issued by Registrar of High Court of Manipur on August 21 for direct recruitment of three posts of Manipur Judicial Service (MJS) Grade I, All Manipur Bar Association (AMBA) submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh today.

Notably, the three posts of MJS Grade I will be recruited amongst the members of the bar.

The memorandum signed by general secretary of AMBA B Supriya Devi urged to revise the eligibility criteria of 60 percent marks in written test of the recruitment for candidates of general category and 50 percent for candidates of SC/ST category.

Mention may be made that an extended executive body meeting of AMBA convened on September 4 last had resolved to appeal the concerned authorities to fix 55 percent marks as the eligibility criteria for the written test for candidates of general category and 45 percent marks for candidates of SC/ST category.
