IMPHAL, 29 October: The Puya Mei Thakhibagi Apunba Mingshing Lup (PUMANIL) today observed the 283rd puya (ancient books of scriptures) meithaba as `Puwarigi Amamba Numit`™ at the Youth Centre Auditorium, Khuman Lampak, Imphal.
PDA chairman T Mangibabu Singh who was the chief guest of the function said the increase in the number of unwanted incidents occurring in the State in recent times is due to the failure of today`™s youth to follow in the footsteps of our forefather.
If the ancient books of scriptures `Puyas`™ had been preserved till now the conflict between the people of the hills and the valley would not have been there.
