IMPHAL, October 23: The Joint Administrative Council of the All Manipur Trade Union Council and the All Manipur Government Employees`™ Organisation has expelled its president Dr M Rajendra and secretary general Purujit Lairikyengbam on charges of misusing funds of the JAC.
This was declared during a press conference held today at the council`™s office by its secretary administration RK Basumani and president in charge B Ghanashyam.
RK Basumani said the apex body of the employees, workers and pensioners of the State government took the decision to oust the two during its executive council meeting held on October 14.
He said during the meeting the two were found misusing the council`™s fund for their personal matters.
During the meeting, the executive council meeting also resolved to clarify that the JAC will continue to press for their earlier demands.
