Kuki State Demand Committee demonstrates in Delhi

Imphal, November 15: For the second consecutive days National Federation for New States (NFNS) and Kuki State Demand Committee (KSDC) on Sunday organized a Dharna and Rally in the surrounding of Jantar Mantar, Delhi and took various resolutions.

During the Maha Dharna and Rally NFNS and Movement Groups from Different Parts of India demanding new state adopted a resolution to call a 24 hours bandh throughout the North Eastern region on December 5, 2015.

The resolution further stated that if the central govt. still fails to have talks with the NFNS after the 24 hours bandh, another 36, 48, 1000 hours and so on will be called in the NE region.

Today the Maha Dharna was staged at Jantar Mantar from 9:00am to 1:00 pm which was followed by a rally which ended at around 3:00 pm said NFNS.

At the same time a unit for KSDC will be opened for Delhi & NCR at the earliest.

In the rally a banner written `We Demand Kuki State` `“Kuki State Demand Committee was hoisted and a placard written, GoI hear our Cry, Our Land Our Right, We want Kuki State etc were displayed during the sit in protest and rally.

In the meantime another memorandum was also again submitted to the Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh by the representative of NFNS.
