IMPHAL, Feb 2: All Manipur Working Journalists’ Union (AMWJU) will be organizing a felicitation function at Manipur Press Club on February 3 in honor of senior reporter of Imphal Free Press, Paochel Chaoba whose investigative report on the killing of Chungkham Sanjit and Rabina left a deep impact not only in the State but in the whole country as well.
AMWJU in a press note said Paochel Chaoba came up with the eye-opener report on the sensational fake counter case against all odds and pressure, which is commendable.
Exuding confidence that many journalists in the State like Paochel Chaoba will emerge with influential news stories, the union appealed to its members and editors of both print and electronic media to attend the function.
