IMPHAL, Feb 1: A discussion program on extrajudicial killing (Fake Encounter) will be held on February 5 at Thangmeiband Athletic Union (THAU) ground, said Threaten Indigenous Society, W Ananda Meitei at a press conference at Manipur Press Club today.
He appealed to the public to attend the meeting without fail. Those families whose members were allegedly killed in fake encounters, and also the JACs formed in such cases should attend the discussion programme, he said.
He also informed that a resolution will be taken in the gathering, which will be submitted to the Government of India, appealing for speedy delivery of justice to the people whose right to life have been deprived in the state for a long time.
