IMPHAL, Jan 1: The NSCN(IM) peace talk interlocutor R.N. Ravi, in a message said the report in the Hindustan Times that the Government of India was ready to concede to a separate Naga flag, which was reproduced in many dailies published from Imphal and Dimapur, was absolutely fabricate, mischievous and untrue.
Ravi’s message said this news could only have been planted by elements which are eager to create turmoil in the region and also to sabotage any amicable and acceptable solution to the Naga problem.
The message appealed to one and all not to fall to such sinister propaganda and to allow the peace process to seek out a path which does not put anybody in a losing position.
