SSPP conducts spot visits of schools in interior part of CCpur

CHURACHANDPUR, February 10: The SSPP or Siamsinpawlpi ( the Paite Student welfare Association) effort to improve the education scenario/ atmosphere in their areas has been conducting spot visits and organising outreach programmes in the remote areas of the district.

A team of the student organisation had recently returned from one such visit.

The association has organised free coaching in the remote areas for class X appearing students of the State Board.

The coaching is being organised at the SSPP Residential high School at Ngathal village of Lamka.

The SSPP also organised a programme yesterday evening around 6:30pm at the school, where the students were encouraged and given tips on how to face the exam.

The SSPP pioneered students of Bukpi High School and Suangdoh HS were also present during the program wherein Rev Ginmalsom also prayed them.

The SSPP School Managing board`s chairman Siamnunlian Vale delivered the well come speech, followed by Nangmuansang Lethil ,GS of SSPP GHQ, who`s an MBA degree holder from IIM, lectured on the career options of the students and give valuable tips to the students.

The headmistress Kimbiaksang delivered the vote of thanks to the participants that include the president of SSPP GHO S Lisnzapau and his cabinets.

It is worth mentioning that the SSPP GHQ led by its president had recently toured the remotest villages and return back just last week.

The latest programme was for the fourth batch of students who will appear for the board exam including 24 students from the SSPP Residential School, four from the Bukpi High School and eight from the Suangdoh H/S.

The president also said that the SSPP GHO with support from different churches, village authorities, elected representatives and organisations are helping the students from the interior areas and hope that the number of students will increase in the coming academic sessions.

SSPP Suangdoh block president Pausonthang also distributed free text book for student studying at Suangdoh High School further promising that free uniform will also come soon.

Ching Rody of Bungmual Village a teacher who has completed her teachers’ training will soon be in Suangdoh Village, he said appealing to the other teachers to imitate her dedication.
