IMPHAL, Feb 12: Hoping various developments in the near future, Zillai, general headquarters (Vaiphei Students’ Association) welcomed and supported the government of Manipur Cabinet decision for changing the earlier proposed Thangting sub-division to Kangvai sub-division.
In a press statement, Zillai president said that the Zillai general headquarters endorses the recent State Cabinet decision on christening the Kangvai sub-division. Kangvai village is suitably located on the highway between district headquarter and state capital. Besides one of the oldest villages in the area, the inhabitants comprising various communities have been living in harmony since time immemorial, it stated.
