ATSUM, KSO-SH visits Twilang HSLC candidates at Kpi

KANGPOKPI, March 12: The All Tribal Students’ Union Manipur and KSO Sadar Hills today visited the HSLC candidates from Twilang (IT Road) areas who are camping at Kangpokpi for the ongoing HSLC examination, 2016.

ATSUM team led by its president Joseph H. Hmar including Hemang, Finance secretary and its executive members Lovejoy, Andrea and Lalpu Kom, executive presented some necessity commodities to the students of Tujang Waichong High School camping at Songlhou Inn, Vengthah, Kangpokpi in the presence of Thangminlen Kipgen, president, KSO Sadar Hills.

The team also interacted with the students who shared their grievances and suffering while preparing for the examination due to the non-availability of examination centre in their area.

ATSUM president, Joseph H. Hmar said that the condition of HSLC candidates from Twilang area is not relevant with the present standard and advancement particularly in the educational prospect.

He continued that such camping for any examination are unheard nowadays but these innocent children still experience the aged environment in this modern age which is seriously unfortunate.

He also said that apart from the pressure they will have to face while preparing for the competition such disturbance and grievances could perilously distract their attention and enthusiasm in preparation and during the examination.

“I am honestly painful for these young students who bear all the hurdles and grievance to face the tough competition while comparing to other candidates who only concentrate in their studies”, lamented ATSUM leader while praying for their success in the competition.

The student body urged the State government and concerned authority to culminate such grievances and unsuited examination atmosphere face by the candidates of Twilang area only for the reason which is very much accomplishable for the government for the welfare of the student community of area.

The student body anticipated that with humble initiative of the Government particularly the department concerned the coming HSLC candidates from Twilang area will appear in their place and avoid similar grievances faced by the current candidates.

In the meantime, KSO-Twilang Block President, Enock Kipgen thanked the ATSUM and KSO Sadar Hills for their concerned over the grievances of the students as well as their humble contribution for the student community.
