KANGPOKPI, March 14: The death of Hatneikim Zou of Lamlanghupi Chothe village is not suicide stated Kuki Students’ Organization-GHQ and demands the state Government to take keen interest in solving the issue without any disruption.
Seiboi Haokip, general secretary, KSO-GHQ lamented that considering the demands of JAC against the mysterious death of Hatneikim Zou, the State government must solved the issue to the satisfaction of the JAC and the public without any further delay.
Claiming that the alleged mysterious death is not by suicide, the student body pointed out that there are evidence which proves she was killed and than made to look like a case of suicide.
Seiboi Continued that the public and the JAC are not satisfied with the results of the post-mortem or the investigations while adding that there are certain circumstances which were overlooked in the course of the inquest.
“The investigating authority has to find out the true nature of the circumstances leading to her death so as to unearth the sinister plot behind the death”, he added.
He further said that if the State government fails solve the case in an appropriate manner the ineptness of the government in fighting crimes against women will be evident in the eyes of the public and it will only increase homicides faked as suicides.
While cautioning not to disposed off the body until the case is solved or amicably settled with the JAC, KSO-GHQ also warn that it will not remain a silent spectator if the government does not seriously look into the demands of the JAC and resolve it to the satisfaction of the JAC and the public.
