House passes Rs 10,58,14,49,000 for Manipur Appropriation (No.2) Bills 2016

IMPHAL, March 4: The Manipur Legislative Assembly today passed the Manipur Appropriation (No 2) Bills 2016 amounting to Rs 10,58,14,49,000 following discussions on demands for every department of the State government during its Budget session which concluded today.

At the end of the sitting today, the Speaker announced the bill passed.

The Speaker also asked the House to pass the specific amount of excess grant for the service years of 2012-13 amounting to Rs 5,41,43,15,386 in the Manipur Appropriation (No 3) Bill 2016.

The Speaker also declared that the session which commenced on February 19 and concluded today had 11 days of sitting. Five obituary references were paid, a motion of the Governor’s Address was adopted, 80 starred questions and 22 un-starred questions were raised.

Three questions were withdrawn, three papers laid on the table, one presentation of the committee report, two discussions on public interest, six calling attention, seven cut motions and token cut, two economic cut, 77 policy cuts, four Bills were raised. One bill has withdrawn and one product members bill was introduce said the Speaker
